Bergamot BPF features Bergamonte, a concentrated 38% Bergamot Polyphenolic Fraction standardized to a unique array of polyphenols including neohesperidin, naringin, neoeriocitrin, brutieridin, and melitidin, at a clinically studied 1 g per serving. Bergamot is a citrus fruit grown almost exclusively in the Calabria region of southern Italy, where the local population has traditionally consumed its juice for cardiovascular wellness. In a four-week, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in adults with blood lipid challenges, 1,000 mg of concentrated bergamot BPF extract supported healthy blood lipid levels compared to placebo, and unlike conventional approaches, it does not deplete the body's CoQ10.
