Brain Health Backed by Science

Nedley Health supplements are the result of Dr. Neil Nedley's 40+ years of clinical practice. Built from what he discovered actually works for the brain.

It started with a question he couldn't ignore.

In the early 1990s, Dr. Neil Nedley was practicing internal medicine when he noticed something that didn't add up. One in four of his patients was struggling with depression or anxiety, affecting their focus, energy, relationships, and quality of life.

As an internist trained to find root causes, Dr. Nedley refused to accept medication as a complete answer. He went deeper into the research. What he found changed the direction of his career.

Depression and anxiety, he discovered, weren't caused by a single factor. They were the result of multiple simultaneous stressors on the brain, spanning genetics and nutrition, lifestyle habits, circadian rhythm, and toxic exposure. Treat the symptoms and you might get temporary relief. Address the root causes, and real recovery becomes possible.

That insight became the foundation for everything Nedley Health does.

Why Nutrition is Central to Brain Health.

In peer-reviewed research published in the American Journal of Lifestyle Medicine, Dr. Nedley and colleagues identified ten categories of factors, which they called "hits," that contribute to depression, brain fog, and mental decline.

Their research found that when four or more of these categories are simultaneously active, a person is highly likely to be experiencing clinical depression. This threshold correctly identified depression in nearly 9 out of 10 participants and aligned closely with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria. The implication is significant: depression and anxiety rarely stem from a single cause. But because multiple factors are at play, multiple entry points for recovery exist, and some, like nutrition, are more addressable than others.

Nutrient deficiencies — including low intake of B vitamins, omega-3s, or tryptophan — directly affect neurotransmitter production and brain health.

47%

Of participants improved their Nutrition hit — the highest improvement rate of all ten categories in the study.

Of the ten identified hit categories, nutrition showed the highest rate of improvement, with 47% of participants successfully addressing that deficit during the program. Some of those ten factors are fixed. Nutrition isn't. It's one of the most powerful levers available for improving how your brain functions, and it's one you can act on right now.

The brain is a metabolic organ. It depends on specific nutrients to regulate mood, sustain focus, and maintain emotional resilience. When those nutrients are missing or under-dosed, the system struggles, regardless of how motivated or disciplined you are.

FORMULATED FROM CLINICAL EXPERIENCE AND DECADES OF RESEARCH.

Every Nedley Health formula begins with the same question Dr. Nedley has asked for over 40 years: what does the research actually support? The answer shapes everything — the ingredients, the doses, and the formulation.

Physician-formulated

Built on 40+ years of patient care, published research, and direct clinical observation of what genuinely supports brain health.

Clinically Effective Doses

Every ingredient is present at a clinically relevant dose — the level the research supports, and the level your brain can actually use.

Transparent Labeling

No proprietary blends. No hidden fillers. You can see exactly what's in every formula and why.

Evidence-based

Grounded in peer-reviewed science and informed by decades of clinical practice. The research leads every decision we make.

WHY DOSING IS CRITICAL

The right ingredients at the wrong dose accomplish very little. A practice known as fairy dusting is common in the supplement industry, where ingredients are included at levels far below what clinical research indicates to be effective. At Nedley Health, every formula begins with a thorough review of the available evidence. Dr. Nedley identifies the most clinically supported dosage range for each ingredient, then refines it through direct patient care. The result is a formula grounded in both research and real-world clinical outcomes.

What fairy dusting looks like

An ingredient is listed on the label at 50mg. The clinical research supporting its effectiveness used doses of 300mg or more. The ingredient is technically present, but at a level the brain cannot meaningfully use.

What Nedley Health does differently

Dr. Nedley reviews the clinical evidence behind every ingredient, identifying the most well-supported dosage range. Where research is clear, we follow it. Where it is mixed or conflicting, 35+ years of clinical practice and patient outcomes inform the decision. Every formula reflects both the evidence and the experience.

We focus on what your brain actually needs.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Designed to work with your brain, our physician-formulated supplements use clinically studied ingredients to support focus, memory, and mental clarity without stimulants, crashes, or side effects.

Stay Healthy. Live Happy.
